  Barbara Fluder, O.D.

  • Graduated with honors from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science in 1989. She graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1993.
  • Is a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO).
  • Donates exams for qualifying Hilltop Neighborhood House patients and contributes to the cost of their visual needs.
  • Is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, and the Merrillville Chamber of Commerce.
  • Is an active member of Delta Theta Tau, a national philanthropic organization.

      Tammy Welch, Office Manager

  • Has 25 years as an experienced optician.
  • Will gladly help you wih all of your insurance questions as well as your frame and lens selection.

      Pamela Hayes, Optician

  • Has been an optician since 1972 and board-certified since 1986.
  • Experienced in finding and fitting every patient with a frame and lenses suited to their individual needs and style.

      Crystal Leal, Optician/Technician

  • Been an optician and technician for seven years and is eager to help you with your fashion eyewear needs.
  • Assists Dr. Fluder with all pretesting needs.
  • Very experienced with all vision and medical insurance plans.
